Cupcakes with fondant and royal icing.
For these cupcakes use whatever baking goodies are around the place. Well, except for the fondant.
Ingredients:
Cupcakes
Fondant
Frosting
Royal icing (optional, you can using more frosting if you'd like)
A few tablespoons of powdered sugar or corn starch
Black food coloring
Red sprinkles
Take a cupcake and lightly frost the top. This will help the fondant stick the cupcake, so you don't need to go all-out nutty with the frosting.
Dust down some powdered sugar or corn starch so your fondant won't stick to your counter top.
Dip a toothpick into the black food coloring and dip it into the fondant.

Moosh the fondant around until the color is full incorporated.
Roll out the fondant until it's 1/4" thick. Taking a cookie cutter that's slightly larger than your cupcake top, cut out a circle of fondant.
Place the circle o'fondant on top of the frosted cupcake. Lightly press the fondant down around the edges of the cupcake.
Repeat for all cupcakes.
I had some white royal icing around, but if you'd rather use frosting, that'll work just as well. To create the Horde logo, I found it was easiest to create the hairpin shape – straight line, oval, and then another straight line – first and then add the pointy notches of the logo. If you're using royal icing, you'll have to be quick before the icing starts to harden.
Quickly sprinkle red sprinkles on top of the logo.
Allow the royal icing (or frosting) to set. After a few minutes, your cupcakes will be done!
